The Times Higher Education (THE) has released the results of its latest edition of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023, which include 1,799 universities from 104 countries and regions. Russia is represented by 77 universities, where 20 of them are medical, and the list is headed by MSU named after M.V. Lomonosov.
According to the results of the Global Aggregate Ranking 2023 Ryazan State Medical University, the only university in Ryazan which was included in the final ranking, entered the leading group (Top 10%) of the best universities in the world.
It should also be mentioned that the World University Rankings are compiled annually on the basis of 13 indicators which are grouped into five areas: Teaching (30%), Research (30%), Citations (30%), International outlook (7,5%), Industry income (2,5%).
