Yevgeniy Kobzev graduated from RSMU General Medicine Faculty in 2007:
- Being a doctor enables you to help people, which is the most important thing in one’s life, to my mind.
Having finished RSMU I started an internship program at the Department of General Surgery of the same University. Then residency in cardiovascular surgery at the Department of Aorta and its Branches Surgery of Russian Scientific Centre of Surgery named after B.V. Petrovsky in Moscow followed.
When I completed my studies I moved to Naberezhnye Chelny where I worked at the E.R. for 2 years. First I joined the Department of Vascular Surgery, later I was transferred to the Department of Cardio Surgery.
In 2012 I moved to Penza and got a job at the Cardiovascular Surgery Centre.
This January I moved again. Now I live in Khabarovsk and head the 2nd Department of Cardio Surgery at the Cardiovascular Surgery Centre.
I’m never satisfied with what I have – I always keep on improving my skills and gaining new knowledge.
I would like to encourage young doctors to love their job, not to be afraid of difficulties, to strive for their dream and not to give up. Learn English, join professional groups and communities, take part in international conferences and exchange experience with colleagues from all over the world!
