It’s the 10th time when International Myology School has been held in Russia.
International neurologists, geneticists, radiologists, morphologists and other scientists annually discuss the most controversial issues of clinical diagnosis, etiology and pathogenesis as well as approaches to treating a wide range of neuromuscular diseases.
This year School’s Academic Director, Professor Andoni Urtisbereya, invited Ivan Yakovlev, a researcher at RSMU Central Research Laboratory, to give a lecture on the topic “Gene Therapy for Muscular Dystrophies: The Current State of the Problem” and take part in a discussion on methodological approaches to developing effective methods of gene therapy and genome editing.
