On March 22 Education and Culture Attache of the Algerian People's Republic Embassy in Russia Mr. Ismail Merabet paid an official visit to RSMU.

During the visit RSMU rector, Professor Roman Kalinin, had a meeting with Mr. Merabet. The parties discussed current issues of foreign citizens training on higher education programs in Russia and outlined ways for cooperation development aimed at increasing the number of Algerian citizens among the University students.

Also Mr. Merabet got acquainted with the history of the University visiting the museum of RSMU and met RSMU Algerian students.

At the moment 36 Algerian students study at our University. By the number of students Algeria takes the 10th place among 52 states represented in the RSMU.
